Kinaxis®, provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, has been named as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for 2015. Now in its 14th year, the national award, managed by the editors of the Canada’s Top Employers project, recognizes organizations who offer the best benefits for younger workers.
“The best employers realize that their youngest employees value the opportunity to contribute to the organization and society,” says Kristina Leung, Senior Editor for Canada’s Top 100 Employers project at Mediacorp Canada Inc. “They are using technology to let their youngest employees do this more effectively than ever before – and to make their voices heard within the organizations.”
It’s the second year in a row Kinaxis has been recognized.
“We are very proud to be able to attract some of the best minds in the software industry thanks to our strong corporate culture,” says Megan Paterson, vice-president of human resources at Kinaxis. “Being recognized once again as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People solidifies that we’re continuing to provide all employees, not just young ones, with a meaningful and enjoyable place to start and grow their careers.”
The competition reviews a wide variety of initiatives – from mentorship to training and advancement opportunities – that are important to young Canadians starting their careers. The competition recognizes the employers that do the most to develop young people in their organizations, helping them advance and build their careers.
This year’s winners were featured in a special magazine published nationally in The Globe and Mail and distributed at universities and colleges across Canada. They will also be recognized at a special awards presentation in Toronto, ON.
