Systke Wijnsma

Sytske Wijnsma is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. Her research tackles challenges in environmental economics by applying operations management frameworks using game-theoretical and econometric models. She has worked on topics ranging from waste management to rural poverty alleviation and collaborated with several organizations including Europol, BRAC, and the UN Environment. Prior to her PhD, she earned a bachelor’s and master’s in Economics at VU University Amsterdam and a master’s in Management Science and Operations at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.
