Kinaxis® Inc. (TSX:KXS), provider of RapidResponse®, a leading cloud-based supply chain management solution based on concurrent planning, has promoted Megan Paterson to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer. In this executive role, Paterson will leverage her ten years of experience at Kinaxis to lead a variety of initiatives in support of the company’s global expansion.

“I am looking forward to continuing to build and strengthen the Kinaxis team as the company continues to mature and scale,” said Paterson. “Throughout my career I derived great satisfaction from working with people to help them realize their potential. During my time at Kinaxis I’ve been fortunate to play a key role in fostering the company’s unique culture of inclusion and am proud to have helped triple the size of the workforce. My new role provides an exciting new opportunity to strategically support the organization as we develop the next chapters in the company’s story.”

During her tenure at Kinaxis, first as Director then Vice President, Human Resources, Paterson has successfully guided the company through a period of continuous growth and significant milestones such as its highly successful initial public offering and the development of a top-quality Board of Directors.

A consistent champion of strategic HR initiatives, Paterson has worked tirelessly to ensure Kinaxis provides sector-leading benefits, along with unique peer recognition, corporate giving and highly impactful co-op programs. Under Paterson’s leadership, Kinaxis has garnered respected third-party recognition for its human resources successes, having been listed as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People and named one of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures, among other awards.

Through Autism at Work, Paterson has cultivated an inclusive workplace environment, celebrating talent diversity while advancing innovation to create a competitive advantage for Kinaxis. An active member of the community, Paterson also lends her time to Interval House of Ottawa, a shelter for women and children fleeing violence, where she holds the position of President of the Board.

“Megan has proven to be an invaluable advisor to the executive team, providing vital perspective at a senior level as the company grows in new geographic regions and vertical markets,” said John Sicard, Chief Executive Officer, Kinaxis. “From succession planning to global talent management, change management and organizational performance, Megan’s new position will focus on deeper human resources strategies to ensure we mature and scale in support of our business plan.”
